Samira's Camera
This poignant short film follows Samira, a dedicated filmmaker in Afghanistan, whose life is turned upside down when the Taliban takes over. Forced to flee and hide, she courageously risks everything to document the harrowing realities under the new regime.
Commissioned by the 49 Percent organization, which advocates for women's rights globally through media, this film highlights the resilience of women facing oppression.
It was written, produced and directed by Paula Kweskin.
The design, animation and animation direction were done through my collaboration with Yael Reisfeld.
